Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study and understand project drawings (Drawings, sections and details, finish schedule and materials)
• Study project BOQ and specifications
• Develop comprehensive 3D Building Information Models for all building disciplines (Architectural, Structural and MEP)
• Create BIM libraries (parts and component)
• Monitor and quality control the development of the 3D BIM models
• Develop BOQ’s with the appropriate description based on (RICS/ CSI95 /CSI 2004)
• Supervise and manage a team of BIM engineers to meet projects expected targets
• Coordinate between BIM teams, project teams, design team and the client
• Integrate BIM with Bill Items and extract material takeoff reports
• Develop and apply member tagging procedures as per the client requirements
• Design coordination and clash detection among the different building disciplines
• Leading & supervising BIM team(s) through the project
• Implement the Quality control system for all disciplines
• Collect and integrate models from all disciplines
• Monitor progress and report to project contact person
• Create and implement company BIM standards on projects (office and site)
• Checking of BIM different reports
• Support and enhance BIM Engineers capabilities
• Engage in BIM developmental tasks
• Troubleshooting of problems at both content and model levels
• Mentoring of team members in varying levels of BIM usage
