Using BIM to control the project scope coupled with time control, breakdown structures integration, progress capturing and actual cost depiction through accounts integration enables visual cost reporting thus budget control. AIDIGITS shall work with the different stakeholders to ensure that all the ingredients of the cost control and cost elements are captured and presented properly within the BIM based digital workflows; this will enable effective cost reporting and as such clear view of the status of the project expenditure. This clear view of the status periodically and early during the execution phase will enable the project team to cater for potential cost overruns and work based on scientific basis to overcome and substitute any potential losses.
